The Sherco TVS Team emerged victorious in the Rally 2 division of the 2024 Dakar Rally. Indian rider Harith Noah showcased an impressive performance, securing a fifth-place finish on an individual stage and concluding the rally in the 11th position in the overall classification.

The final stage of the Dakar was a relatively brief day for the riders, culminating at the Red Sea’s edge, the location of the special’s finish. While the last special did not present significant challenges, its potential decisive impact lingered.

A timer was activated over 174 kilometers around Yanbu, posing a threat to the frontrunner. Harith Noah capitalized on the two-week event, committing minimal errors and navigating his 450 SEF Rally with caution. Consistently riding near the top 10, he adhered to the team’s strategy, securing the overall victory in Rally 2 and concluding in the 11th position in the general classification.

Reflecting on his achievement, Harith Noah expressed his happiness at completing the rally. Winning the Rally 2 category was a great accomplishment for him, though he admitted uncertainty until the very end.

Arriving with no specific expectations, he focused on riding his bike without fixating on the results. Notably, during stage 10, he was surprised to record the fifth-best time of the special, indicating a positive turn in his performance. Noah acknowledged feeling good throughout the week, with the bike running flawlessly.

He expressed the hope that his victory would inspire many young individuals to participate in rally events. Recounting his childhood dreams, he marveled at the journey from initially finishing 20th to achieving an 11th-place finish at the prestigious Dakar Rally.
