Over the next six weeks, more Ford enthusiasts in Australia will have the chance to witness the extraordinary SuperVan 4.2 as it embarks on a tour across the country, showcasing its capabilities at renowned racetracks and captivating fans.

Arriving in Australia just last week, this all-electric van wasted no time hitting the track at Sydney Motorsport Park for rigorous testing.

Its debut will be at the upcoming Repco Bathurst 12 Hour this weekend, followed by demonstration runs at the Thrifty Bathurst 500 Supercars season opener the following weekend, with acclaimed racing driver Romain Dumas at the helm for both events.

In the following month, the SuperVan 4.2 will make its way to the Adelaide Motorsport Festival from March 15-17, where it will be driven by several special guests.

Continuing its electrifying journey across the nation, it will grace the Albert Park circuit on the Thursday preceding the Australian Grand Prix, where race enthusiasts can admire it as part of the Ford Performance Experience display throughout the weekend, alongside the new Mustang Dark Horse and a Mustang Mach-E GT.

Ford Australia president and chief executive Andrew Birkic expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Ford is on an exciting electrification pathway, and SuperVan 4.2 is a great illustration of what electrified performance can mean.

With additional stops added to the SuperVan tour in Australia, EV and performance fans around the country will be allowed to see this feat of engineering and the next-level performance it delivers.”

The new-and-improved SuperVan 4.2 was unveiled at last year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, boasting a trio of electric motors generating a combined 1,400 hp. Its remarkable bodywork generates an impressive 4,400 lbs (1,995 kg) of downforce at 150 mph (242 km/h).
