This encompassing initiative applies to key modes of transport, including BRT, Blue Line Train, and Ferry services.

The fare reduction is just one component of a comprehensive strategy outlined by Governor Sanwo-Olu to ease transportation burdens across the state.

Civil servants falling within Grade Level 1 to 14 will now operate on a three-day workweek schedule aimed at reducing commuting expenses and optimizing productivity. Moreover, special transport assistance will be extended to teachers, who will continue to attend work on a five-day basis.

By implementing these measures, Governor Sanwo-Olu aims to provide tangible relief to Lagos residents while fostering efficiency and accessibility within the public transportation system.
