City Transformer, an Israeli innovation, introduces the CT-2 folding car, designed to shrink in size for seamless navigation through heavy traffic and snug parking spaces.

The CT-2 boasts a width of merely 1.4 meters while cruising at 90 km/h on open roads. However, its adaptive design allows it to contract to just 1 meter, facilitating swift maneuverability amidst congested urban traffic.

This microcar offers a range spanning from 75 to 112 miles (120 to 180 kilometers) before necessitating a recharge, promising ample mileage for daily urban commutes.

Priced at $17,400 (€16,000), the CT-2 is currently available for global pre-order, requiring a down payment of $162 (€150).

City Transformer, headquartered in Israel, anticipates the worldwide release of its second-generation CT-2 folding car in July. Branded as ‘the world’s first adaptable car,’ the CT-2 is hailed for its car-like driving experience coupled with motorcycle-like parking capabilities.

In addition to delivering the safety and performance standards of traditional automobiles, this two-seater electric microcar emphasizes maneuverability and effortless parking, akin to motorcycles.

Measuring a mere 1.4 meters wide while maintaining a speed of 90 km/h on highways, the CT-2 can shrink to a mere 1 meter, facilitating navigation through dense traffic and fitting into tight parking spots.

City Transformer expresses its vision for transforming urban mobility, challenging conventional norms, and reshaping perceptions regarding automobiles and their environmental impact.

“At the heart of this transformative journey lies a dedicated commitment to integrating sustainable materials into our innovative designs,” the company states.

With a range spanning from 75 to 112 miles (120 to 180 km) before requiring recharging, the CT-2 promises a ‘cleaner, smarter urban lifestyle’ by reducing emissions and noise pollution.

Already securing 1,000 orders for medical emergency teams in Israel and garnering an additional 1,000 pre-orders globally, City Transformer’s CT-2 heralds a new era in urban transportation, offering efficiency, adaptability, and environmental consciousness.
