Brazilian-Italian racer Felipe Drugovich, who last competed in the 2022 Formula 2 Championship, is set to make his return to racing in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). He will be driving for the British team Vector in their LMP2 ORECA-Gibson 07 throughout the full six-round ELMS season.

Drugovich will share driving duties with Stephane Richelmi and Ryan Cullen, stepping in for Gabriel Aubry. Despite initially being scheduled to continue driving for the team, Aubry’s position was filled by Drugovich for the upcoming ELMS campaign.

Expressing his excitement for the opportunity, Drugovich stated, “It’s great to be back in competitive racing and combine my experience with my passion for endurance racing.” Having previously participated in free practice sessions with Aston Martin, Drugovich is eager to contribute to Vector’s success in the ELMS.

Vector team principal Gary Holland emphasized Drugovich’s talent, describing him as a valuable addition to the team. Acknowledging the swift nature of finalizing the deal, Holland expressed confidence in Drugovich’s abilities and anticipates a successful collaboration with the #10 ORECA.

Drugovich will begin his preparations with Vector at Paul Ricard, where he will join Richelmi and Cullen for a two-day test. Despite potential scheduling conflicts with Formula 1 races, Drugovich’s commitment to the ELMS season remains a priority, showcasing his dedication to returning to competitive racing.
