Wyman’s near-perfect lap time of 2:14.8 minutes, set during the final lap, not only secured his victory but also established a new lap record for the bagger racing class at Circuit of the Americas. His remarkable achievement culminated in a thrilling finish, with Wyman crossing the line just 0.677 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor.

The King of the Baggers series, with 18 rounds planned for the year, is experiencing its largest season to date. Wyman currently leads the standings with 96 points, followed by Troy Herfoss with 85 points. The series will continue at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, with the next race scheduled for April 19-21, before concluding in September at the New Jersey Motorsports Park.

The competition’s rules are straightforward, allowing only Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles equipped with hard side bags and fairings, with a maximum weight limit of 620 pounds (281 kg).
