Willow Springs International Raceway is a famous racetrack located in Southern California. It was established in 1953 with the help of Ken Miles, and later bought by Bill and Maxine Huth in 1962. Over the years, the Huth family expanded the recreational options at the track while keeping it accessible to all. The racetrack has been used for various events like track days, racing schools, drift events, commercial and movie shoots, and car launches.

In 1996, Willow Springs was designated as a California Point of Historical Interest due to the Huth family’s stewardship. Bill Huth passed away in 2015, and his family has continued to run the track since then. Now, the track is up for sale with listing agents Team Scarborough.

Stephanie Huth, Bill and Maxine’s daughter, expressed her family’s pride in being stewards of America’s first purpose-built road racing circuit. The complex, spanning 600 acres, offers seven racetracks and various other amenities, making it a popular destination for racing enthusiasts.

The listing highlights everything Willow Springs offers to a potential buyer, including admin areas, dining spaces, gift shops, a fuel depot, and more. Interested buyers are invited to submit an offering memorandum to be considered.

While the complex may require some investment, its value is deemed reasonable compared to the price of luxury cars. Even if you’re not looking to buy, exploring the listing provides insight into the timeline and legacy of Willow Springs International Raceway.
