Two of America’s most trusted working-class brands have joined forces in a collaboration that feels long overdue. The partnership between Ford and Carhartt actually dates back to the 1920s, when Carhartt supplied workwear apparel directly to Ford factory workers, continuing those programs through the 1970s.
Walk onto any American jobsite today, and you will spot a Super Duty parked outside and a worker wearing Carhartt inside. The 2027 Ford Super Duty Carhartt Package was officially revealed at the Essential Unsung Heroes event held at Detroit’s historic Michigan Central Station, celebrating both iconic Motor City brands.
Ford is clear that this is not simply a stylistic appearance upgrade but an appearance, durability, and utility package designed to balance form and function equally. This truck was built for the people who clock in before sunrise and leave long after sunset.
A Tough Exterior Built to Absorb the Punishment of Real Work
The exterior comes with a dark-painted grille and body-color bumpers, while reflective Carhartt branding appears on the fender vents and textured graphics stretch across the doors and tailgate. These graphics are placed low on the body where mud, road salt, and rock chips cause the most damage every single day.
The 20-inch painted and machined aluminum wheels draw design inspiration from the manhole covers found outside Carhartt’s Detroit flagship store, wrapped in LT275/65R20E Bridgestone Dueler all-terrain tires. That small design detail says everything about how seriously both brands approached this collaboration.

Additional exterior upgrades include off-road running boards, LED fog lamps, LED roof marker and clearance lamps, and a Tough Bed spray-in bedliner stamped with the Carhartt logo. The textured running boards provide a solid mud-grip surface for climbing in and out safely after a hard day on the job.
The package is exclusive to Super Duty F-Series models with single-rear wheels, meaning dually configurations are not part of this build. Six exterior colors are available, including the brand-new Neptune Blue, making its debut exclusively on the 2027 model year.
Duck Canvas Interior and Serious Muscle Under the Hood
The cabin draws heavily from Carhartt’s Duck Canvas and triple-stitch heritage, with that signature stitching running through the door trim panels and center console lid. This is the same rugged construction found in Carhartt’s toughest work jackets, not merely a decorative touch.
Carhartt logos are embroidered into the front headrests and seat map pockets, while the all-weather floor mats carry a texture pulled directly from Carhartt’s own tool bag designs. Every interior detail was considered with the trades worker in mind, not a casual weekend driver.

Under the hood, buyers can choose a gas-fed 7.3-liter V8 producing 430 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque, or step up to the Power Stroke 6.7-liter diesel V8 delivering up to 500 horsepower and a commanding 1,200 lb-ft of torque. Four-wheel drive comes standard across the entire Carhartt Package lineup without exception.
The Carhartt Package adds $4,195 to the XLT’s base price and can be paired with both the XLT Premium Package and the FX4 Off-Road Package for even greater capability. Orders officially opened on May 8, 2026, alongside the rest of the full 2027 Super Duty lineup at dealerships nationwide.
Beyond the truck itself, both Ford and Carhartt are investing back into Detroit through support for the Detroit ToolBank, a nonprofit that lends tools and equipment to local community organizations. For workers who have trusted both names their entire careers, this package is not just a truck; it is a well-earned tribute to everyone who builds America with their hands.
