Together, they seek to harness the potential of energy-efficient power semiconductor technology for marine applications.
Under this agreement, Infineon and HD KSOE will focus on creating power solutions for propulsion drive technology, which is a crucial component in the electrification of ships. Infineon will lend technical support to HD KSOE by providing expertise in semiconductor power modules and system solutions while sharing insights into semiconductor trends within the maritime industry.
