Some people aren’t big fans of the Tesla Cybertruck. It’s a huge truck that weighs 7,000 pounds and has some problems. For example, its front trunk, or “frunk,” can hurt your fingers. The doors are sharp and can cut you, and even taking it through a car wash can break it. As more people get these trucks, we’re learning more about how they’re made and the issues they have.

Recently, Autoline did a teardown of a Cybertruck, showing how it’s put together. Another person, Hoovie’s Garage, found a leak in the windshield washer fluid line. The fluid was spraying under the frunk, which could let rainwater in. Also, the plastic tabs for changing the cabin air filter broke easily.

i1Tesla also did a teardown and found some problems. When they raised the suspension, the wheels pushed into the wheel wells so much that it damaged the floor. The air compressor was also very loud. T Sportline got one of the first Cybertrucks from Tesla. They take it apart to see how it’s made and to make sure their products fit on it.

These videos show how the Cybertruck is built and what problems it might have. For example, there might not be enough space for bigger tires. Most owners probably won’t take their trucks off-road, but it’s something to think about. There are also issues with the software and electronics that owners are still dealing with.
