Dodge has officially announced the arrival of the Banshee, a Higher-Performance variant of the Electric Charger Daytona, set to debut next year.

While previous Charger EVs lacked certain advanced features, the Banshee will boast an 800-volt architecture and a two-speed transmission, promising to surpass the performance of the iconic Hellcat.

Positioned as the Electric Equivalent of the Legendary Hellcat, the Banshee aims to redefine high performance in the EV realm.

Dodge has remained tight-lipped about specific power figures, but Enthusiasts anticipate over 807 horsepower and a quarter-mile time in the 10-second range, outstripping the Hellcat’s prowess.

With an all-wheel-drive configuration, the Banshee is poised to outpace its Gas-Powered Predecessors, boasting a sub-three-second 0-60 mph time and a quarter-mile run in about 10 seconds.

Equipped with a Track Pack as standard, including adaptive dampers, Brembo brakes, and high-performance tires, the Banshee promises unparalleled handling and acceleration.

As the sole electric muscle car in its class, the Banshee may soon face competition from high-powered EVs like the Tesla Model S Plaid and the Lucid Air Sapphire.

Nevertheless, Dodge’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric performance heralds an exciting era in the evolution of performance vehicles.
