The Italian Luxury sports car maker Ferrari recalls more than 23,000 cars. These recalled cars will include models from 2005 till 2022. The reason behind this recall is the leak of brake fluid and losing a partial or full braking system. Almost all models are affected by this recall. However, the limited production models like the F60 America and LaFerrari are under question.

An automaker recalls its vehicle as a precautionary measure. In a recall, the manufacturer detects and solves the problem. Once the recall is done and the issue is resolved, the manufacturer returns it to the customers. Majorly these defaults are in the mechanical part. If the company fails to provide a solution and fails the recall, it requests the customer to get a buyback or exchange with the new vehicle. In the past, many automotive giants have faced this issue. Even now, these companies face this problem. Brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Nissan, etc., are affected by the problem of recalling their vehicles. Multiple complaints were reported about the leakage of brake fluids which led to the failure of the braking system. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported all the problems and asked Ferrari to recall these units. The problem was found in the brake fluid reservoir cap. It failed the vents to work properly. Further, it created a vacuum in the reservoir, which caused brake fluid leakage. Excess leakage of brake fluid can even lead to failure of a partial or full braking system. In a car like Ferrari, when you are cruising above 100kmph, you don’t want to put yourself in any dangerous situation, right?
